  12.    I'm not so familiar of what is "Pre-emptive" multitasking. But the Amiga
  13. is certainly better than WIN on the multitasking issue...
  14.    You may like to try formatting a disk... formatting the second...
  15. You can format 4 disks and run a program on hard disk at the same time.(And
  16. playing a MOD and playing a ANIM)
  17. So as the 3D programs... They usually allow you to do modelling when redering
  18. in the background. The WB mouse pointer turns busy when you copy files 
  19. but I think that's to avoid disk errors... if you're keen to have this 
  20. capability, try Disk Master. You'll get it.
